At the final show of the year and from one of the biggest entries the beautiful Dolce takes the Reserve Bitch Challenge Certificate. Judge Mrs Margaret Holmes

October 2009

Brewster still only 16 months old moves up to Limit and takes second place in a big class of 10 dogs beaten in his class only by the Dog CC winner. Not to be out done the outstandingly beautiful Dolce takes the Open class in style and wins the Reserve Bitch CC

At the following Show, Midland Counties, Brewster wins his class and is seriously considered for the CC and the Beautiful Dolce wins a huge Open Class and goes on to take her second Bitch Challenge Certificate.

August / Sept 2009

A few fun weeks of showing which culminated in the gorgeous Detor's Dolce Vita Bigtop taking the Open Class and Bitch Challenge Certificate at City of Birmingham Championship Dog Show 2009 under all round judge Jock Mackay.

Brewster also won his class following taking a spectacular 2nd in a huge Junior Stakes class at Welsh KC 2009 under Steve Hall.

I have added lots of photos of both Dolce and Brewster (including moving shots) to the photo gallery and also to their personal pages - please take a look we are really please with them.

Jazmine has been trimmed down while i wait for her adult coat to grow back in, hopefully she will be campaigned in 2010.

June 2009

Our fourth show this year, Brewster aka Bigtop's Bootlegger does it again just 2 weeks into the junior class he is triumphant and wins under USA judge MRS GLORIA MITCHAM GERINGER! Not to be outdone kennel mate Jasmine aka Bigtop's into the Light - who has not yet learned how to show! dispite her erratic behaviour and moving on two legs took third in a strong puppy bitch class of 9.

Not content with his first in the breed, Brewster goes on to take 4th in a 30 plus strong Junior Stakes class under UK all rounder MRS KARINA LE MARE.

April/May 2009

From limited showing this year due to other committments.

At Welks Brewster aka Bigtop's Bootlegger won his puppy class followed 2 weeks later with a 2nd place in another strong puppy class at Birmingham.

Welks Crittique reads - Bigtop's Bootlegger, lovely buff i liked very much, won this class with ease, beautifully balanced plush head, nice arched neck, good front and rear, moved freely with lovely topline. Penny Iremonger

January 2009

A happy and successful New Year to all!!!

The new year started for a bang for us, A still very young and immature Brewster Bigtop's Bootlegger came out to his first open show and won Best Puppy In Show from the AVNSC class Phew!!!!

Not to be outdone Jazmine Bigtop's Into The Light Won her class at Manchester Championship Show, with the exquisitely beautiful Dolce taking 2nd in a strong Open Bitch Class (only her third show EVER!) Three outings and three stud book qualifiers - way to go Dolce!

Sept 2008

It's been a funny year for us, we only actually went to one show all year, we had two beautiful litters of cocker babies, and are looking forward to introducing Brewster, Jazmine and maybe Dusty too ;)) to the show ring next year ;)))

I lost my beloved Tess, Ch Cannon Bear's Obsession for Topsail at the grand age of 12.5 years old. She was top winning newfoundland bitch for 1999 and won a total of 8CC's and Six RCC's including group placements and BOB wins. She was the most loving and gentle Newfie i ever had and is sorely missed. Sleep tight baby...

The gorgeous Indy found a new mom in Jo and new buddies in the bernese Crunchie, Jazmine and Barney, thanks Jo for giving her such a great home ;))

I feel totally guilty for not showing Dolce yet but hope to have her in the ring at the end of the year... Watch this space...
